Console Bedside Tables Italy 1940’s

A pair of romantic Italian console bedside tables made in Italy in the 1940s. Each table is constructed in painted wood with a single drawer fitted with a solid brass knob. The form is light and pared-down, intended to be hung directly on the wall as console tables or used as bedside units.

The wood has been refinished and painted in a wedgewood tone; the overall surfaces show wear consistent with age and use. Original mirror glass is present with visible beauty marks that reflect age-appropriate patina. Hardware and drawers are original to the pieces.
